Avignonesi are one of the preeminent producers of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, a classic medium-bodied and sleek style of red made from Sangiovese grapes. 2015 was a superb quality vintage across Tuscany and this is a wonderful wine with beautiful balance of fruit ripeness, acidity and tannin. Offering up notes of bright red berries, pomegranate, Mediterranean herbs and earthy minerality, this is a wine that is ideal for drinking now alongside all classic Italian dishes.
