Is Argiolas Vermentino 2023 is a medium-bodied white wine from the Italian island of Sardinia. Made from the oldest Vermentino vines of the Argiolas estate, this elegant, refreshing Vermentino was aged on lees in steel tank to retain freshness. It expresses the rugged island terroir of Is Argiolas`s Costamolino vineyard through vibrant notes of ripe peach, apricot and tropical fruits, along with almond blossom and wild honey.
Ripe yellow apple aromas mix with almond paste and candied ginger nuances as the 2023 Vermentino Is Argiolas slowly blossoms in the glass. It’s silken in feel with a reverberation of zesty, acid-driven tension as savory herbal tones complicate notes of ripe orchard fruit. A slightly salty tinge lingers along with hints of sour lime as the 2023 finishes long and spry.
