Altos Las Hormigas is a respected Argentine winery founded in 1995 by a group of Italian and Argentine wine enthusiasts, including renowned winemaker Alberto Antonini. ‘Clásico’ is the winery`s entry-level Malbec, crafted to showcase the varietal`s signature characteristics and the unique expression of the Uco Valley terroir. It is made predominantly from Malbec grapes, with some vineyards being as high as 1,200 meters above sea level. The altitude contributes to the development of fresh, vibrant fruit flavours, good acidity, and a balanced structure in the wine.
