ERA is a Cabernet-dominant Bordeaux blend from the Alpha Omega estate in the Rutherford AVA of the Napa Valley. It is the flagship wine of the estate, with fruit selected from vineyard sites representing a mosaic of soil types and terroirs of Napa, from the mountains to the valley floor. Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Merlot combined make up around 20% of the blend. "Medium to full-bodied, the palate has bags of elegance and grace with layers of earthy and savoury nuances and a good core of black fruit preserves, flanked by firm, fine-grained tannins, finishing with a quiet intensity."
