Established in 1997, Alpha Estate is situated in the Amyndeon region of northwestern Greece. This specific release is made from 100% Malagouzia, an indigenous grape variety that is making a return from the brink of extinction. Following some skin contact and tank fermentation, it spends two months on lees with occasional stirring. The result is a fruit-driven white wine with hints of chopped basil and fresh oregano. The palate is crisp, featuring juicy fruits accentuated by mineral notes and citrus zest.
