Situated to the north of Côte de Beaune, the village graces a stony hillside nestled at the base of Corton Hill. It was in 1862 that the term "Corton" was appended to the village`s name, becoming Aloxe-Corton. The vineyards owned by Domaine Louis Latour envelop this renowned village, producing a timeless Aloxe-Corton wine. Now fully mature, the 1969 Burgundy vintage holds great promise and is one to watch for.
