Based in the village of Aloxe-Corton, Domaine Follin-Arbelet produces a wide range of cuvées, from village-level wines to Grand Cru expressions. They vinify using indigenous yeasts in open-topped wooden vats and the wines are aged for up to 20 months in oak barrel. This particular release is the 2005 vintage of ‘Les Vercots’, one of the 13 Premier Crus in Aloxe-Corton. An exceptional vintage across the board in Burgundy, 2005 produced generous styles of wine with incredible longevity.
