Domaine Follin-Arbelet Aloxe-Corton Clos du Chapitre 2006 is a mature-vintage Premier Cru red Burgundy from the climat of Clos du Chapitre in the Aloxe-Corton commune of the Côte de Beaune. Winemaker Franck Follin-Arbelet prefers a simple approach to vinification. grapes are fully destemmed with natural fermentation taking place in open-topped wooden vats. Premier Cru wines are aged for 18 months in barrel, initially with 20-25% new wood before racking into older casks after 12 months. "Mid ruby. Very sweet and easy and beguiling. Hint of cumin.
