Markovitis Alkemi Xinomavro Rosé 2023 is a medium-bodied, dry rosé wine from the Naoussa region of Greece. Markovitis is a family-owned winery currently led by Marcos Markovitis. Formely known as Château Pegasus, the winery was one of the first commercial producers in Greece to practice organic viticulture. This exquisite rosé is made from the Xinomavro grape using the saignée method. Xinomavro is the signature grape of Naoussa and is often compared to Nebbiolo from Piedmont. Alkemi is a well-structured yet refreshing rosé with notes of pink grapefruit, herbs and floral elements.
