One of Israel’s top boutique wineries, Alexander Winery is known for its quality and modern winemaking practices. The Grand Reserve 2013, part of the Alexander the Great series, is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, Shiraz and Mourvèdre. The wine spent 48 months in 70% French and 30% American barrels and changed twice to new barrels every two years. The resulting wine displays a black-red colour, with aromas of ripe and luscious fruit, spices, leather and tobacco.
