Condado de Haza Alenza 1996 is a mature-vintage, full-bodied red wine from the Ribera del Duero region of Spain. Only produced in exceptionally good vintages, the Alenza cuvée is a 100% Tempranillo and was matured for 30 months in predominantly new American oak barrels. "The huge 1996 Alenza boasts a big, smoky, dried herb, black currant-scented bouquet with loads of truffle, black cherry, currant, and raspberry liqueur-like notes. Substantial in the mouth, with full body, firm tannin, and a long, heady finish."
