Castillo Perelada is one of the most important producers in the Empordà DO, a small Catalonian region close to the Southern French border. Aires de Garbet is a delicious wine produced from 100% Garnatxa from a single vineyard located close to the Mediterranean with very rugged topography and distinctive slate soils. It is vibrant and fresh with delicious notes of red fruits, spices, bitter chocolate and smoke. A wonderful wine that would pair beautifully with barbecued lamb.
