Achaval Ferrer is one of the leading lights of Argentinian fine wine production, making highly expressive wines from exceptional old vineyards. This is their entry-level Malbec and is an assemblage of parcels from Luján de Cuyo, Medrano and the Uco Valley, ranging in altitude from 2199 to 3478 ft above sea level. This is a super release offering classical varietal notes of rich black and purple fruits, with bright floral aromatics. It is elegant, soft and lengthy, making it ideal for drinking with hearty stews or chargrilled meats.
