`Aalto PS 2021 is a full-bodied red wine produced from Tempranillo grapes in the Ribera del Duero region of Spain. Aalto Bodegas y Viñedos was established in 1999 in Ribera del Duero, one of Spain’s most prestigious wine regions right now. Aalto is a partnership between Javier Zaccagnini and winemaker Mariano García, who worked at the iconic Vega Sicilia for 30 years. Aalto PS is special cuvée crafted from old-vine plots situated in La Horra and La Aguilera (`PS` stands for `Pagos Seleccionadas, indicating these special vineyard selections). Aged for 21 months in new French oak barrels, the wine is known for its intense concentration, depth, and complexity. On the 2021 vintage. "The 2021 PS is 100% Tempranillo, primarily sourced from clay soils in La Horra and Aguilera, and was aged for up to 20 months in French barrels. Garnet-red in hue.
