Graves

Located on the Left Bank of the Garonne River, stretching southeast from the city of Bordeaux, Graves is an appellation famous for producing high quality red and white wines from its typically gravelly, alluvial soils. For reds, the classic Bordeaux varieties of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and some Malbec are the key grapes, whilst Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc are used to make stellar age-worthy dry whites.
