The 'New Wave' meets the 'Old Guard' as we raise a toast to the ploughman poet himself, Robbie Burns.

Celebrate Burns Night with a dram of Lochlea or Dalmore.. or both! Between now and the end of January, we're offering up to 15% off selected single malts from two of Scotland's most exciting distilleries.

Lochlea - Burns' family home

One of the newest Lowland distilleries and a true 'barley to bottle' project. Founders Neil and Jen come from a agricultural background and, upon acquiring the farm in 2006, immediately saw the potential to grow a grain crop and produce whisky on their Ayreshire farm - thus Lochlea was born with distillery construction beginning in 2017. The farm at Lochlea was Robbie Burns' family home for many years and where he first began write his world famous poetry.

The Dalmore - pride of the Highlands

Founded in 1839 by Alexander Matheson, Dalmore is one of the Highland's most recognisable distilleries. Overlooking the Cromarty Firth, the distillery houses four pairs of stills and produces just over four millions litres of spirit a year. Almost as famous as the distillery itself is Richard Paterson, master blender for many decades, Richard has done much to popularise the Dalmore brand and Scottish whisky more broadly.
