Miraval
Rosé Perfection from Provence
Located in the ancient town of Correns in the heart of Provence, Château Miraval is an idyllic wine estate as well-known for its A-list celebrity associations as for its benchmark-setting rosés: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie bought Miraval in 2008 (Pitt is still the majority owner), while the estate remains the site of a renowned music studio that has hosted the likes of Pink Floyd, AC/DC/ The Cure and Sting, to name but a few.
Winemaking at Château Miraval is overseen by the Perrin family, thanks to whom Miraval has become a byword for premium-quality Provence rosé. The estate vineyards are situated on terraced slopes with clay and limestone soils, which contribute to the wine’s distinct character. The grapes are hand-harvested, and the winemaking process involves direct pressing and temperature-controlled fermentation, ensuring that the wine’s freshness and fruit flavours are preserved.
