The key name to look out for on our shelves is Shafer Vineyards, founded in 1972 and at the forefront of Californian winemaking. Producing glorious 100% Cabernet Sauvignon wines, replete with rich dark fruits and savoury, spiced complexity, this is a wonderful AVA to discover.
