William Larue Weller 19 Year Old (2001 Release) is an age-statement Bourbon whiskey produced at the Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky. Distilled in 1982, this exceptionally rare wheated Bourbon was bottled in 2001 as part of Buffalo Trace`s Antique Collection. The range was discontinued in 2003 owing to the parent company Sazerac`s requirement to prioritise its wheated Bourbon for the Old Rip Van Winkle brand. This 1982 vintage was bottled from a stock of well-aged Stitzel-Weller casks unloaded by Diageo in the late 1990s.

Buffalo Trace

Buffalo Trace Distillery is a historic and iconic name in the world of bourbon, named after the ancient pathways carved by buffalo migrating through the Kentucky region. Throughout its storied history, Buffalo Trace has stood resilient, even during Prohibition, when it was one of only a handful of distilleries permitted to produce medicinal whiskey. This perseverance has cemented its legacy as a cornerstone of American whiskey. Renowned for its unwavering commitment to quality, the distillery has garnered numerous prestigious awards, reflecting its excellence and innovation in bourbon craftsmanship.
