Michel Lafarge Volnay Les Caillerets 2006 is a medium-bodied Burgundy red wine from the Premier Cru climat of Les Caillerets in the Volnay appellation of the Côte de Beaune. Established in the 18th century, Domaine Michel Lafarge is a family-owned wine producer based in Volnay. Currently managed by Frédéric Lafarge, the domaine is well-known for producing some of the greatest traditional Volnays, from biodynamic farmed vineyards. This is from the challenging 2006 vintage in which the domaine produced a very successful Les Caillerets. deep, spicy with a stony mineral core.
