Founded in 1935, Viu Manent is a Chilean winery owned by the Viu family and is one of the finest producers in the Colchagua Valley. Viu 1 is made from the best Malbec grapes in Block 4 of their San Carlos vineyard which was planted more than 100 years ago. The nose reveals delicate aromas of violets, red berries, and fresh blueberries. On the palate, the wine displays remarkable character and structure. The 2019 vintage can be enjoyed now but will improve with further cellaring.
