A beautiful Reserva from Dominio Basconcillos, sold in glorious large format, showcasing the true power of the Ribera del Duero. The 2015 vintage is a blend of 85% Tempranillo, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Merlot, aged for 24 months in French oak barrels. Dark, almost opaque, with a bright cherry trim. The nose is very complex with nuances of black cherry, plum, blackberry; aromas of liquorice, spices and balsamic notes. Expressive on the palate with mature and silky tannins, concluding on a very long finish.
