Situated in the prestigious Pomerol appellation, Vieux Château Certan covers approximately 14 hectares and is one of the largest single-block sites on the Right Bank. Recognised as one of the finest wines in the region, its Grand Vin is often highly scored by influential wine critics. The 2021 vintage is a blend of 77% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, and 3% Cabernet Sauvignon. The nose combines violets, rose petals, sweet wild berries, exotic spices, hints of orange rind, and a subtle smoky essence. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, boasting a supple and velvety texture. Its bright core of fruit, accompanied by refined tannins, leads to a precise, saline finish that adds to its allure. The wine is available here in a magnum size.
