Maison Thiriet is a relatively new producer, only founded in 2016. Based in Comblanchien – a commune just to the south of Nuits-Saint-Georges – it is the brainchild of Matt Chittick and Camille Thiriet who met each other while working for Domaine de Bellene. Champs Cervin’ is made from organic Chardonnay grapes, sourced from a plot located in the commune of Tharoiseau, opposite Vézelay. The 2020 vintage has plenty of tension, punctuated by fine minerals and a subtle salinity on the finish.
