This 100% Espadin mezcal from Vago is made by maestro mezcalero Emigdio Jarquin Ramirez is produced in Miahuatlan, Oaxaca. It is crushed by tahona and distilled in a copper refrescadera still, something which is still quite common in the Ejutla/Miahuatlan region of Oaxaca. This is fresh and smoky with cooked agave on the palate and banana and anise on the nose.
