The Tokaj Classic Tokaji Aszú 6 Puttonyos Király 2013 is a distinguished Hungarian dessert wine, meticulously crafted from hand-picked, botrytised Furmint, Hárslevelu, and Muscat Blanc grapes. The `6 Puttonyos` designation signifies the highest traditional sweetness level in Tokaji wines, historically achieved by adding six baskets (`puttony`) of botrytised grapes to a 136-litre Gönci barrel of must, resulting in a lusciously sweet wine with a minimum of 150 grams of residual sugar per litre. This vintage entices with opulent aromas of apricot, honey, and citrus, leading to a palate that harmoniously balances rich sweetness with vibrant acidity, culminating in a long, satisfying finish.
