An elegant Pinot Gris from Tillingham, a Sussex estate set amongst 70 acres of rolling hills and woodlands. 47% Auxerrois, 42% Pinot Blanc, 11% Chardonnay. Fermented in large earthenware vessels called `qvevri`, from which the wine takes its name. Aromatic on the nose with notes of greengage and kaffir lime leaf which follow through to the palate. Linear acidity combines with a dry grip, whilst characters of melon and lemongrass endure. Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
