Thomas Popy Le Clos Bareth 2018 is a medium-bodied red wine from the Jura region of France. The Beaujolais-born Thomas Popy worked for such talented winemakers as Jean-Claude Lapalu, Julie Balagny and Pierre Overnoy before launching his own project. Working from a tiny cellar in the village of Mesnay, he now produces some of the most exciting natural wines of the Jura. Le Clos Bareth is a blend of Trousseau and Chardonnay from a tiny, south-facing old vineyard parcel in the heart of Mesnay. Delicate, floral and ethereal – and quintessentially Jura.
