Takamaka is a family-owned rum producer based on Mahé, the largest island of Seychelles. The distillery was founded in 2002 by Richard and Bernard d’Offay, who were determined to make rum with authenticity. ‘Pti Lakaz’ is a blend of pot distilled Seychelles cane rum from four different barrels, pot and column distilled molasses rum that has been aged for three years in ex-bourbon casks, as well as an 8-year-old Bajan Foursquare molasses rum. A rich and fruity expression, combining notes of star anise, cocoa beans and dried apricot.
