Gianfranco Soldera’s wines are regarded as some of the purest and most ethereal expressions of Brunello di Montalcino. And this Toscana IGT Sangiovese 2015 is a perfect representation of that. A unique vintage in Tuscany and especially in the small wine municipality of Montalcino. Sweet floral aromas, plus notes of cedar, tobacco and a touch of spice open first. Deceptively medium in body, the wine is translucent and light, with plenty of acidity and tannin structure. It can be enjoyed now, but it’s recommended to cellar it for a few more years.
