Founded in 1972 by Ray Duncan and Justin Meyer, Silver Oak has built its reputation on crafting age-worthy, oak aged Cabernets that continue to define a distinct Californian identity.

This vintage exhibits aromas of cherry, black raspberry, and hints of tobacco and cedarwood. The blend consists of 3% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Cabernet Franc, 3% Petit Verdot. Notably, Silver Oak is renowned for its commitment to American oak ageing, influencing the wine`s structure and complexity.

- Full red-ruby, with a hint of amber. Riper on the nose than the Alexander, with currant, loam and mocha aromas complicated by herbs and nutty oak. Offers more texture and sweetness to buffer its acidity, with bitter cherry and currant flavors in the middle and on the aftertaste. Here the tannins are broader, but the lingering finish is still a bit dry and green.
