100% Pinot Noir from the Sea Smoke Estate Vineyard aged exclusively in French oak. The perfect marriage of complexity and elegance. The ever-changing nose of the Southing exhibits fresh strawberry, geranium, cherry and subtle baking spices. Fine tannins and minerality are enhanced by the estate vineyard’s characteristic cool climate acidity.
The 2019 Pinot Noir Southing is a rich, effusive wine. Bright red cherry fruit, rose petal, blood orange cinnamon and orange peel lend brightness to this mid-weight, articulate Pinot. This opens nicely with air, showing lovely density to play off its natural focus.
