A blend of peated whiskies including some from the islands of Orkney and Islay. The spirited is married in old Sherry barrels for added richness. Ocean spray, toasted oak and a touch of bonfire on the nose lead into medium bodied, fruity floral palate. The finish has notes of sweet pastry and a touch of crushed grist. Not a peat monster, but with a good background hum of enticing smoke.
