An independent release by the Danish drinks company 1423 and part of its Single Barrel Selection series. This single cask rum was distilled in the Dominican Republic in 2006 and matured in a bourbon cask until August 2022. The nose is dominated by aromas of dates, raisins and vanilla beans. On the palate, the rum is beautifully spicy, punctuated by coconut shavings, brown sugar, hints of milk chocolate and a touch of sea salt.
