Santa Rita Floresta Field Blend Blanco 2021 is a blended dry white wine produced in the Apalta Valley region of Chile. A blend of Moscatel, Semillon, Sauvignon Vert, Torontel and Corinto the 2021 Floresta Field Blend is produced with a short period of skin maceration, which has yielded a wine with intense citrus and floral aromatics, good structure and excellent acidity.
The 2021 Field Blend Blanco Floresta from Apalta was macerated with skin-contact for 9 months and 10% was aged in barrels. Golden and faintly cloudy in the glass. The nutmeg aromas present hints of orange peel and basil. Dry and slightly tannic due to the lengthy skin contact. The palate is taut and channeled with a languorous, orange peel finish.
