Rosso di Montalcino San Polo 2022 is produced entirely from Sangiovese grapes, cultivated on the San Polo estate, acquired by Marilisa Allegrini in 2006. This wine features aromas of fresh berries, Morello cherries, and blackberries, alongside subtle notes of vanilla spice. It presents smooth tannins and a balanced structure, concluding with a persistent, aromatic finish. The estate spans 22 hectares, all planted with vines.
Dark and earthy in the glass, the 2022 Rosso di Montalcino mixes flowery underbrush with dried black cherries and wilted violets. It sweeps easily across the palate, ripe in style yet juicy to the core. The 2022 ends with gentle inner tension, sweet tannins and spice hints.
