Rémy Martin 1738 Accord Royal - literally `royal agreement`- celebrates a royal warrant granted by King Louis XV permitting Rémy Martin to plant a new vineyard in 1738, something that was forbidden at the time. The nose offers generous notes of plum and fig jam, rounded out with intense oaky notes of toffee and toasted bread. The palate is marked by notes of butterscotch and baked spices with hints of dark chocolate.
