Niepoort Vinhos Redoma Reserva Branco 2022 is a barrel-matured blended white wine from the Douro Valley of Portugal. Niepoort is a pre-eminent wine producer in Portugal, with a long history dating back to 1842. While it is historically famous for its Port wines, in recent years Niepoort has gained a reputation for its growing range of high-quality table wines. Niepoort`s Redoma Reserva comes from vineyards which are more than 80 years old, planted in mica-schist soils at an altitude of 600 metres above sea level. Producer note. "On the nose, this wine is delicate yet complex. Its freshness and character shines through with notes of aromatic herbs, citrus and yellow plums. Foral hints mingle seamlessly with the spicy aromas stemming from its barrel ageing, lending the wine further depth. The palate is structured, with beautiful acidity. It finishes long, dry and on a piquant note. This is a classic Douro white. superbly balanced and with great cellaring potential."
