Ravenswood Winery began in 1976 with pioneering winemaker Joel Peterson at the helm and has forged a reputation as one of the finest producers of Zinfandel in California. The Teldeschi Vineyard was planted in 1913 and is located in Dry Creek Valley, just north of Healdsburg in Sonoma County. The 2001 Zinfandel displays red fruit character together with herbal, spiced complexity.
