Having worked in the revered wineries of Dominus and Rudd Estate, David Ramey established his own label in 1996 and is widely regarded as a master of Cabernet and Chardonnay due to his use of traditional, artisan winemaking techniques. The 2015 Hyde Vineyard Chardonnay is a charming, Burgundian-style wine with vibrant notes of citrus, honeyed tropical fruit, white flowers and stony minerality. Tightly wound with perky acidity, this is a refreshing wine in youth but has all the components to age very well.
