Based in Brooklyn, the New York Distilling Company was founded in 2011 by Tom Potter [co-founder of the Brooklyn Brewery] and Allen Katz. In April 2019, the distillery released this bottled in bond edition of its flagship Ragtime Rye, which is aged for a minimum of four years in full-size barrels and bottled at 50% ABV. Expect notes of tropical fruits, plums, vanilla and hints of toasted oak.
