Pulteney 11 Year Old Carn Mor Strictly Limited 2011

This single malt was distilled at the Pulteney distillery in the Highlands in 2011, and then matured in oak casks for 11 years before being bottled at 47.5% ABV by the independent bottler Càrn Mòr for their `Strictly Limited` series. On the nose, the whisky evokes sweet aromas of honey, vanilla and caramel, with a hint of saltiness that is characteristic of whiskies from the Pulteney distillery. On the palate, it combines notes of ripe fruits, spices and oak, as well as a subtle maritime influence that gives it a distinctive character.
