Situated in Montepulciano, Poliziano is a family-owned winery celebrated for its Vino Nobile di Montalcino red wines. The estate draws its name from the Renaissance poet Angelo Ambrogini, famously known as Poliziano. The Vin Santo di Montepulciano displays a deep, dark amber hue, almost opaque with golden tints. The nose is concentrated, with hints of honey and vanilla over a caramel base. The palate is sweet and smooth, offering a velvety, rounded feel, with a lovely balance achieved through an interplay of sweetness, acidity, and aromas.
