Plantation Barbados 2007 is a premium vintage rum produced at the West Indies Distillery on the island of Barbados. Distilled in 2007 in the pot and column stills of the distillery, this classic Plantation expression underwent a tropical maturation for two years in ex-Bourbon casks, followed by a further maturation of 14 years in Cognac casks in the Ferrand warehouses in Javrezac, France. Bottled at 48.7% ABV, it offers complex, sweet-sour notes of baking spices, roasted almonds, flambéed banana, citrus peel and vanilla, followed by crême brûlée, coconut and pepper.
