Pinhook Rye is crafted in Kentucky, featuring a mashbill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley. This first release of straight rye whiskey reveals notes of apples, liquorice, baking spice, and black sugar, with a finish that offers a peppery warmth alongside hints of dried fruit and apricot. Aged for over 24 months in barrels, it has been expertly blended and proofed by Sean Josephs at Castle & Key Distillery, established on the site of the historic Old Taylor distillery in Frankfort.
