Though famous for Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, Peter Michael Winery also produces a high-quality Bordeaux-style Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon blend with fruit from the high elevation Les Pavots Vineyard in Sonoma County. From the milder 2011 vintage, this is a blend of 96% Sauvignon Blanc and 4% Semillon, fermented using native yeasts in French oak barrels and matured ‘sur lie’ for 8 months with regular bâtonnage. Rich, zesty and multi-layered, this is a seamless wine built to age.
