Saperavi is a red grape variety indigenous to Georgia, known for producing deeply coloured and richly flavoured wines. Orgo Winery is known for using traditional Georgian winemaking techniques, including fermenting and aging the wines in qvevri, large clay vessels buried underground. Expect a medium-bodied wine with a deep ruby colour, offering notes of dark fruits such as blackberries, cherries and plums, complemented by some earthiness.
