Distilled in 2015, this bourbon underwent an 8-year maturation in used barrels before being finished for an additional 8 months in brandy casks. The process yields an aroma that includes sweet cinnamon, Nutella, wood tannins, nutmeg, and hints of orange liqueur. On the palate, it reveals flavours of fruit leather, black pepper, cigar box, cherry syrup, and a subtle sweetness. Old Louisville was founded by husband and wife team Amine and Beth Karaoud. Amine and Beth work together hand selecting whiskies from top distilleries before marrying and ageing further in their own warehouse.
