Bodegas Olarra was established in 1973 and is located in the far east of the Rioja Alta zone, in the outskirts of Logroño. ‘Añares’ 1982 Gran Reserva is a Tempranillo-dominant red wine which was matured for a minimum period of 24 months in oak barrels. 1982 was a legendary vintage for most of Spanish wine regions. The wines of Rioja were particular successful and plenty of excellent Gran Reservas were produced then.
