Mount Gay Eclipse is a rum distilled in Barbados, reflecting the legacy of the world’s oldest commercial rum distillery, established in 1703. Named after the dual occurrences of a total solar eclipse and Halley`s comet in 1910, this expression offers a complex aromatic profile. On the nose, one can discern fresh flowers, honey, and hints of vanilla and tropical fruit. The palate reveals layers of banana, spice, and smoke, concluding with a long, spiced finish characterised by toasty oak.
